Ms. Swanson joined the Law Offices of Marcine A. Seid in 2005 and primarily focuses on business, religious worker and family-based immigration and citizenship, as well as general immigration issues. She has also practiced corporate/civil law, including company formation, contract drafting and litigation, employment and real property issues.
Wendy Swanson received her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University in 2003 and graduated with a certificate in International Law. While at Santa Clara University, Ms. Swanson assisted clients with immigration issues through her work at the East San Jose Community Law Center where she focused on family-based immigration, VAWA and political asylum cases. While working as a law clerk Ms. Swanson also gained proficiency with business immigration issues.
Prior to law school, Ms. Swanson managed public relations accounts for high-technology start-up companies. Ms. Swanson graduated cum laude from Boston University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and a concentration in Russian and Eastern European studies.
Ms. Swanson is a member of the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
